Is the sky falling yet?

It seems the news everywhere today is the same. Rates are UP! Way up into the 6% level. I find it amusing as for most of my career, I only dreamed rates would be this low.

Rates on 30-year mortgages top 6%: “Rates on 30-year mortgages rose for a fifth consecutive week, topping 6% for the first time since March as financial markets continued to worry about inflation.”
