Tough times ahead for Washtenaw Mortgage.

by Todd Carpenter on December 7, 2005

Crain’s Detroit Business is reporting that Washtenaw Group Inc.’s proposed sale to GenStone financial has fallen through. Washtenaw Mortgage Co. has stopped writing mortgages as a result. I once worked for this company and felt they had a very innovative way of centralizing their operations while still providing good service across the country. Good Luck to the employees left in the wake.
