Flagstar Bank and Argent Mortgage both have news portals for their broker clients. It’s a great way to communicate industry scuttlebutt, and present their latest products or promotions. For the life of me, I can’t understand why other lenders don’t do this. Further more, every lender should have a blog for each branch. This would be an opportunity to communicate underwriting times, new programs, seminars, office closings, or any thing else that is now sent by fax, then thrown away by the brokers receptionist.
I think there is huge potential here that is completely unleveraged by the wholesale lending industry.
