A Real Estate Blog for Eggheads

I'll admit, I'm a bit of an geek (note my affinity for sweater vests) and find great delight reading posts from other fellow eggheads. When I find a site that keeps me reading for 20, 30 or even 60 minutes while shaking my head in agreement or disagreement with admiration for the thought put into the post, I'm giddy.

Today I received an email from Mike Agee at Mortgage Scoreboard complementing a post I made recently at The Mortgage Cicerone. However, he closed with the following statement:

"Your blog in general is really good."
When I read "in general," I knew immediately he was an egghead and thinker.

For "non-eggheads" that is akin to another egghead telling someone;

"That really makes sense, "however" have you ever thought about..."
I know you eggheads get what I'm talking about (Brian Brady, Mark Flanders, Brad Inman, Ed Rybczynski, Patrick Kitano...).

Long story short, I clicked on the hyperlink to his blogsite and started devouring his posts.
I highly recommend you also visit his site and start reading.
He tackles several hot topics that address long standing sacred cows in the real estate industry and even makes suggestions on how they need to change (gasp). However rest assured, his posts will be well thought out, will definitely spark emotions (pro & con) and promote further dialogue.

At the bare minimum, he will get you thinking!

As an egghead, I was initially confused about which blog was in general good... but then I admit that Lenderama, Mtg. Cicerone and Agent Scoreboard are all in general really good.

Pat & Mike - Perhaps we can revive Adlai Stevenson's battle cry:

"Eggheads of the world, unite. You have nothing to lose but your yolks."
