Getting my mortgage crunk on
Here's some odds and ends all mashed into one GINORMOUS post.
Colorado Brokers - Thursday's NAPMW meeting will feature Cary Whitiker, from the DRE, on the new licensing regulations. CMLA has a similar event on the 24th. Oh, and speaking of Colorado events, time is running out to register for Blog Fiesta!
Utah Brokers - Trust me, if other states follow Colorado's lead (like Minnesota on August 1st), then your alt-doc choices for self employed borrowers are about to be swallowed up by a perfect storm of lawyers, lenders and politicians Jillayne Schlicke informed me that there's a training worth checking out on August 23, in SLC. The Self Employed Borrower - Analyzing Tax Returns. I'd bet that's $159 well spent.
Trigger Leads - I hate them. Dan Green is more diplomatic. On the topic of things I hate, Appyblog is covering the latest churning scams. Meanwhile, here's another "expert" I won't mind seeing in a pair of flex-cuffs.
That WSJ article - As I mentioned on Friday, the WSJ article on Mortgage Brokers deserves some rebuke. David Porter's smackdown saves me from needing to say anything more.
OK, it wasn't that big. I just wanted to use "ginormous" in a post. Blogging on the bleeding edge of new vocabulary enhances my Rocket Surgeon persona.

Thanks for validating the use of the word "ginormous." I might have to remember that one.
