On my R.B.F. blog, I’ve interviewed forty something bloggers about their views on RE.net. There’s one question that I’ve asked every one of them. “What are some of your favorite blogs?“. Nobody ever lists there own. Maybe they are just being modest. But let me just say, lenderama is my favorite blog. Honestly, I’ve had pets I cared less about.
This endeavor has changed my life. Three years ago, I was a decent Account Executive who hated his job. Since starting lenderama:
I was mentioned in Investor’s Business Daily
Had my thoughts on blogging become published in a book. A real book, that you could actually buy at Barnes & Noble.
Got a gig writing for the the Real Estate Industry’s premiere online trade publication.
Professionally consulted clients who used to be my employers.
Stirred the pot, got noticed, and became an influencer.
On top of it all, I apparently annoyed the Former President of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers enough to get him to comment here.
This all has been accumulating up to this last month or so. Lenderama is kicking. Twenty posts published in the last week. Six new contributors. Lot’s of traffic. Lots of comments. But most of all, lots of email from the behind the scenes, congratulating me on how lenderama was progressing.
Am I bragging? YES! lenderama is my baby. But bragging is not why I wrote this post. You see, lenderama is a blog. It’s Web2.0. That means, it’s not about me. It’s about us. lenderama would not be where it is without it’s readers. Without others referring to it. Without other bloggers wanting share the microphone. I’ve worked pretty hard to get lenderama where it is, but I couldn’t have done it without everyone else. Thank You.

Lenderama is the best RE blog. I did research on the top 25 RE blogs before auditioning to be a contributor here. Some blogs are too technical, some too off topic, and many bloggers seem to be there to toot their own horn rather than to be informative. I found Lenderama to be just right.
