well here’s a marketing ploy I never pondered

by Diane Cipa on February 1, 2008

Yesterday I started getting Google alerts from newspapers all over the world touting an amazing new development in on-line title insurance. Someone was giving real time quotes and taking orders on-line. Holy Moly.

Oh ma gad!!…and I thought what the heh???

I’ve been doing this on-line stuff for a long time and so have lots of my competitors, so wazzup?

All I can think is that this company had the great idea of sending a global press release and all the media - not knowing a thing about title insurance - though it was a great story.

Huh. How about that? Go figure.

Diane, did the online title quotes connect you to someone named Gurmeet in a call center in India?

If not…..coming soon!

Ha Ha - very funny, Paul. ;) I’m giving my staff lessons in foreign dialects so we fit into the new globalized title world. We don’t want to be the odd man out.

Hey Diane,

I know who you are talking about. LOL. You are right, it is simply a press release to try and reach more potential customers. Oh, and thanks for writing at another blog. Like I don’t have enough to try and follow as it is.

Mark, you devil, LOL. Wish I’d have thought of it.
